I created this page with the aim of answering a few questions that I receive from time-to-time with regards to who I am, what services I offer and how we can work together.

Unfortunately, I do not take photos for weddings. The reason being, I personally prefer to work on shorter-term assignments and weddings are effectively a full-time job! The other issue would be that my Romanian language skills are not the best and weddings have multiple generations of people and I wouldn’t want to stress anyone out just by having them struggle to understand me.
I am first and foremost a portrait photographer. I don’t specifically take passport photos and if someone calls to request a single headshot for a passport photo, then I inform them that this is not the service I provide.
However, if you’re looking for a photo session in the studio on a clean white background and then choose to use them as “passport style” images, then of course, you’re more than welcome to. The main thing is, I cannot guarantee that the images will meet the strict requirements of a passport photo and I don’t advertise this as a service.
From time-to-time, I do offer free photo sessions. However, this is normally based on whether I already have the kind of photos in my portfolio and whether or not I feel they would make a good addition to my portfolio. I do sometimes post castings on my portfolio site, so you can take a quick look there if you are interested or want to collaborate!
Nope. The Romanian Government require me to have a dedicated machine specifically for receiving cash payments. In the interest in keeping my prices low and affordable for my clients, I do not own one of these devices as they come with administrative overheads and fees, which ultimately would drive my prices up. However, I can take card payments in-person if you need to pay for something during our session.
I create invoices for all of my services.
If you’re looking to buy a photo session for a friend, colleague or family member, then yes, I can offer you a “voucher” which that person can then use to book my services directly on the site. The voucher is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
If you love Romanian, it’s probably not a great idea to hear me speak it. Despite the fact that I’ve lived here for over a decade, I shamefully still don’t speak Romanian well.
Would you ask the chef for the uncooked food? – Just kidding… but nope, I don’t send unedited images to my clients.
Thankfully, I have a very interactive selection process, allowing you to select the images which you feel are the best from the session. Those images are then processed to the standards that I am comfortable releasing and made available for you to download.
Yes and yes. However, they do have to be tasteful. I’m not working in the adult entertainment industry and plan to keep it that way, despite how much money can be made there. Photography is a form of art and I wish to have my work seen and enjoyed by everyone but for the right reasons!

All bookings are made and pre-paid directly on this website. It’s easy to choose your service, check my availability and book all in one place! Of course, if you want to discuss details of a session before or after you’re booking, that’s totally fine, but all bookings are made and paid for electronically.

I moved here in 2013, seeking some adventure and something totally different from what I was used to in the UK. I’m pleased to say that I was not disappointed, despite the relationship which was part of that move, not quite working out as one would have hoped.

I charge hourly because I don’t believe it’s fair to set a price for a “package” which sometimes could only take one or two hours to complete. Charging hourly allows you to control how much you spend and how much you get.
For portrait sessions, each hour gives you access to download 6 images. These images are retouched and “finalised” before being made available for download.
Of course, if you need more photos, you’re welcome to add some to your selection. The cost of adding extra images is not very high and the idea is, you only pay for what you actually want!
