Public, social and community events all need something slightly different. Tell me what the day is meant to achieve and I’ll plan the photography around it.
What is happening?
The photographs should be useful after the event too.
A community gathering needs different photographs from a public campaign or a one-off social event. Tell me who will see the images, what they need to understand and how you plan to use them. That gives me something much more useful to work towards.
Explain the purpose
Tell me who the audience is, which moments matter most and where the photographs will be used.
Cover the full event
I’ll photograph the people, setting, details and atmosphere, not just the obvious moments on the schedule.
Put them to work
You’ll receive edited files ready for your communications, archive and promotion.
I sometimes offer complimentary coverage for community events when suitable credit and promotion can be agreed in advance. Send me the details and I’ll let you know if the event qualifies.

Photographs with a purpose.
I’ll cover the reason everybody is there, while keeping an eye on the people, reactions and smaller moments that give the event its character.
