These Terms & Conditions outline the agreement between the Photographer (Aaron Roberts) and the Client regarding the provision of photographic services. By engaging with ALR Photography’s services, the Client agrees to the terms and conditions set forth in this document. Please read carefully to understand your rights, responsibilities, and the policies that govern our services.
Definitions
“The Photographer” refers to Aaron Roberts (ROBERTS AARON LEE PERSOANĂ FIZICĂ AUTORIZATĂ – CUI: 41431477).
“The Client” refers to any individual, group of individuals, firm, or company entering into an agreement for the purchase of goods or services from ALR Photography.
1. Acceptance of Terms and Conditions
By engaging ALR Photography’s services and using the provided photographs, the Client agrees to abide by the terms and conditions outlined in this document.
2. Copyright and Ownership
For individual (non-commercial) services, copyright of all photographs remains with the Photographer, unless otherwise agreed through a written Assignment of Copyright.
For commercial services, copyright and ownership automatically transfer to the Client upon full payment of all agreed fees.
Reproduction, alteration, transformation, or use of images without proper licensing or payment is unlawful and may incur additional charges.
The Photographer reserves the right to delete original files 30 days after delivery.

3. Cancellation Fees / Overruns
If a session is cancelled or postponed due to weather conditions, poor conduct, or other unforeseen circumstances, and rescheduling is not possible, the Photographer may charge the full fee and expenses. This will be treated as a cancellation within 24 hours of service delivery, as outlined in the Charges & Cancellations policy.
Additional charges may apply if the assignment extends beyond the Photographer’s control (e.g., extra time, additional photographs beyond the agreed scope).
Any such charges will be communicated to the Client before the session or service concludes.
4. Payment Terms
No services will be conducted without prior payment.
For individual services, payment must be completed in advance through the website. Once payment is received, the service is automatically confirmed.
For commercial services, pricing is provided only upon request. A proposal will be sent electronically and must be digitally accepted. Services are confirmed only after the Client accepts the proposal and pays the invoice.
For overruns or additional services (e.g., extra photo downloads), an invoice will be generated and payment must be made before delivery, unless otherwise agreed for commercial entities (payment due within 5 days).
Late payments may incur an interest charge of 5% per month on the outstanding balance.
5. Fees and Expenses
Quotes are based on the initial job description and specifications provided by the Client.
Changes to the scope of work may result in additional charges.
The Photographer will make reasonable efforts to provide an estimate of such charges when applicable.

6. Expectations and Communication
The Client and the Photographer should establish a clear mutual understanding of the expected results prior to the session.
Concerns about the scope or outcome must be addressed before the service begins. Refunds will not be issued due to misunderstandings regarding the brief or expectations.
7. Confidentiality
The Photographer agrees to maintain the confidentiality of any Client information deemed private, except as required by law or upon the Client’s request.
8. Conduct
The Client is responsible for the conduct of any individuals accompanying them.
Unruly or unsafe behaviour may result in immediate termination of the assignment.
In such cases, the Photographer reserves the right to charge full fees and expenses as per Clause 3.
9. Delivery of Products and Services
The Photographer provides products and services on a best-efforts basis and is not liable for delays beyond reasonable control.
Reasonable efforts will be made to meet deadlines, but delays caused by external factors (postal delays, weather, etc.) are not the Photographer’s responsibility.
10. Pricing Policy
A. Individual Services
Pricing for individual photography services—such as personal photo sessions or event coverage for private, non-commercial use—is listed on this website and must be paid in advance of the service.
B. Commercial Services
Pricing for commercial photography services—such as images intended for commercial use—is determined based on the Client’s specific requirements. A proposal will be sent electronically and must be digitally accepted. Services are confirmed only after the Client accepts the proposal and pays the invoice.
Commercial entities registered in Romania will receive invoices both by email and through the Tax Authorities’ eFactura system.
Non-Romanian entities will receive invoices exclusively by email.
C. Amendments and Pricing Changes
All prices are subject to change without prior notice.
If a Client books an individual service but the work is later determined to be commercial, ALR Photography reserves the right to reclassify the service and apply the commercial rate.
Commercial services are billed at a minimum of 150 Lei per hour (Standard Hourly Rate), with additional fees calculated based on the nature of the services delivered.
Copyright transfer for commercial services: Upon full payment of all agreed fees, copyright and ownership of the images transfer from ALR Photography to the Client. Until such payment is received, copyright remains with the Photographer and no commercial use is permitted.
11. Amendments to Terms
The Photographer reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.
12. Agreement
By engaging ALR Photography’s services, the Client acknowledges and agrees to these Terms and Conditions.
